KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes I, 121-96 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 6.46 g, 1 h), Artaxata. Head of Tigranes I to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star and tied with a diadem. Rev. BAΣΙΛEΩ[Σ] / MEΓAΛ[OY] - TIΓPA[NOY] Eagle standing left with closed wings. CAA 138. Kovacs 51. Very rare. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, very fine.
